STILLBIRTH FOUNDATION AUSTRALIA & STILLBIRTH CENTRE OF RESEARCH EXCELLENCE
2023 RESEARCH GRANTS
The Stillbirth Foundation Australia (SFA) and Stillbirth Centre of Research Excellence (Stillbirth CRE) support organisations and institutions undertaking research into the cause, prevention, and management of stillbirth.
Today SFA and Stillbirth CRE announce the call for our joint 2023 grant funding round.
The Foundation will consider applications that address any aspect of stillbirth; however, priority will be given to clinical studies that address any of the four areas below:
- Novel/non-invasive ways to monitor fetal health and wellbeing;
- The development of novel platforms or models of care to reduce stillbirth;
- The provision of high-quality care to support women and their families at the time of stillbirth; and
- The use of data to drive practice change.
Applications will be considered for project support or people support. Applications that seek part funding where support can be obtained from other sources will be viewed favourably. All levels of funding (i.e., financial request) will be considered and all applications will be reviewed by an independent Scientific Assessment Committee that consists of researchers, consumers, and clinical staff. As a guide, previous grant applications received funding between AUD40,000 and AUD120,000.
Applications must be received by 5:00pm AEDT Friday 20th October 2023.
