2020 Research Grants
Stillbirth Foundation Australia | Stillbirth Centre of Research Excellence 2020 Research Grants
The Stillbirth Foundation Australia (SFA) and Stillbirth Centre of Research Excellence (Stillbirth CRE) support organisations and institutions undertaking research into the cause, prevention and management of stillbirth.
Our 2020 grant funding round is now open.
The Foundation will consider applications that address any aspect of stillbirth, and priority will be given to clinical studies that address any of the three areas below:
Novel/non-invasive ways to monitor fetal health and wellbeing;
The development of novel platforms or models of care to reduce stillbirth; and
The provision of high-quality care to support women and their families at the time of stillbirth.
Applications will be considered for project support or people support. Applications that seek part funding where support can be obtained from other sources will be viewed favourably. All levels of funding (i.e. financial request) will be considered and all applications will be reviewed by an independent Scientific Assessment Committee that consists of researchers, consumers and clinical staff. As a guide, previous grant applications received funding between AUD40,000 and AUD120,000.
SFA will not fund conference travel or building funds. Grant applications will be accepted from Australian entities only.
Applications close midnight (AEDT) Friday 13 November 2020. Please submit applications to firstname.lastname@example.org.
